Notice what conduct reveals

Use repeated behavior, relevant incentives and uncomfortable evidence to revise a judgment. A label or a confident self-description is insufficient.

Finish a result that can teach you

Define a usable stage, work on the current constraint, and preserve capacity for uncertainty. More activity is not automatically more useful output.

Let evidence change the description

Specify what a claim means, separate a meaningful model from a true one, and compare expectations with what happens. This is a way to examine claims, not a complete theory of truth.
